Despite what books and YouTube trainers may suggest, loose lead walking is one of the most common — and often most frustrating — challenges for dog owners. It’s not just about being “top dog” or how you hold the lead; the reality is that some dogs find this skill much harder to grasp than others. Our structured 3-session package (£225, which is payable in instalments of £75) is designed to boost your confidence, refine your handling, and help your dog develop calm, focused walking habits in real-life environments. What to Expect: * Calm Start: These three one hour sessions begins in low-distraction environments, such as our private training field in Hockley Heath or on private land at Solihull Riding Club, where we have an on-site office. These controlled settings are ideal for laying the right foundations. * Controlled Distractions: As your dog’s focus improves, we introduce carefully managed distractions — including the help of our calm, well-trained dogs Luna, Izzy, and Archie — to encourage progress in a safe, supportive way. * Tailored Support: You’ll receive personalised advice on equipment and handling techniques, along with bespoke guidance tailored to your dog’s needs and behaviour. * Real-World Progression: Each session builds on the last, gradually moving from quiet training spaces to more public, busier areas — preparing you and your dog for everyday walking success. ‘Chris was recommended to me when I had kind of resigned myself to having a dog who pulled.
