Service Description

Socialisation and obedience are jointly prioritised in this 8-session course designed to help your puppy become a calm dog and a good family pet. This course is for fully vaccinated pups aged up to 6 months old; see our Tweens course for older dogs and our Super Socialisation course if your puppy is not yet fully vaccinated. Designed and delivered by our behaviourist and dog training team, the course covers age-appropriate training such as Lead Walking, Recall, Whistle Recall, Leave It, Sit Waits, Lie Downs, Going to a Bed on command and Dropping Items. You learn crucial anti-jumping techniques and how to phase out play biting and mouthiness. As the socialisation window begins to close at 14-16 weeks, it’s vital to continue socialisation with dogs and people. We teach you how to improve your pups’ impulse control and social manners when greeting dogs and people, and how to avoid later pitfalls like food bowl guarding and food jealousy. Get personal advice from our behaviourist and dog training team as well as receiving written tips and video clips to remind and help you practice after each session, or to help if you miss a lesson.
