Animal Kind Dog Training & Behaviour offers you effective strategies, in person training, and behaviour tips in a supportive and structured manner, starting with your very first session. Development Packages
Following your first session we can provide 6 months or 12 months development packages that allow us to guide your puppy, adolescent or adult dog's development and socialisation skills over that time span.
We provide ongoing support, along with monthly age-appropriate private training sessions, as well as advice, ensuring you have the guidance you need at every step that will help you develop a calm, obedient family-friendly dog.

Puppy Power 121 Session
Your puppy training journey begins with a one-on-one Bumper Puppy Power 121 session in your home, accommodating the entire household, including children.
During this session, we address essential early challenges such as nipping, potty training, overnight sleeping and establishing household rules, along with providing numerous helpful tips based on years of experience.
After your first session, we can guide you on the appropriate next steps for further training and socialisation, which can include a 6 month or 12 month Development Package, or just one-off follow-ups.
We are unique in that we offer 121 Puppy Training, Behaviourists, and Group Classes (including very early socialisation).
First Assessment & Dog Training Session
During this comprehensive assessment of obedience issues with your teenage or adult dog (no upper age limit), we will focus on addressing specific challenges you may be facing, such as general obedience, recall skills, lead walking techniques, and household rules.
Additionally, we will provide a wealth of helpful tips to support your training efforts. As a team of qualified behaviourists and trainers, our goal is to gain a deep understanding of both you and your canine companion.
This insight allows us to develop the most suitable training methods and a personalised action plan that sets you up for success in your training journey.
After the first session is complete, we will be more than happy to guide you on the appropriate next steps, which may include Group Classes with our Tweenies Obedience and Rescue Rehab Course. We are unique in that we offer a variety of options, which can include a 6 month or 12 month Development Package, or just one-off follow-ups, to ensure you find the perfect fit for your needs.
Common Issues: Recall - Lead Walking - Socialisation
Recall Package: If you have a specific goal, like letting your dog off the lead with the confidence of a solid recall, we will show you our three stage process to getting your dog or pup coming back to voice and a whistle, as well as stopping on command.
Lead Walking: Establish good habits with our lead walking techniques, with sessions involving dogs we bring along.
Smart Socialisation, Manners, and Play: Build your dog's confidence among our well-trained assistance dogs. Or discover how to recognise appropriate play and when to step in. We'll introduce our friendly and calm training assistance dogs such as Luna Labrador, Izzy Labradoodle, Wilf Cavapoo, Archie Labradoodle, Benji Cockapoo and Ralph Bulldog to help your dog or pup learn the ropes.
This service is suitable for mildly nervous and timid dogs - any dog showing aggression would benefit form our behaviourist services.

Our Experience
Our expertise stems from a diverse background of and personal experience, having fostered and owned 10 rescue dogs, Chris and Helen have been training dogs for more than 15 years.
Both of us are accredited dog training instructors under Steve Mann at the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers.
Chris qualified as a behaviourist in 2017, having completed a Masters degree in Animal Behaviour at Newcastle University.
He is working towards the prestigious CCAB qualification - Certificated Clinical Animal Behaviourist - the highest level for behaviourists in the UK and perhaps globally.
