Dorridge Dogs is a dog walking and puppy visiting company, which is also Animal Kind Dog Training's partner company.
With a couple of years of animal rescue work with dogs in Asia under Helen's and Chris's belt, they set up Dorridge Dogs in 2010 to give the dogs of Dorridge great off-lead walks – and with only a maximum of three other dogs on each group walk, we provide great quality walks and peace of mind. Dorridge Dogs clients get discounts off Group Classes and 121 Training with Animal Kind Dog Training, and many have been trained and socialised by us from a young age.
The Dorridge Dogs team includes several walkers who have been with us since the beginning - that's over 15 years providing daily or weekly walks to hundreds of local wonderful dogs and owners. In many cases, we work with doggy clients for their whole lives, from puppies all the way through to their older years when they slow down but are still happy come on shorter walks with us.
Dorridge Dogs Services:

This service suits old dogs, injured dogs or pups. We can spend some time with them in the house and garden or take them on a walk on the lead around the block for half an hour. For pups, this can really help with their socialisation too.
Solo Walks

We pick up your dog, along with max two/three others & take them to the nearest park for an off-lead walk for an hour. Suits a sociable dog that is happy to be transported with others by car. On drop-off, we towel-dry your dog & check their water
Group Walks

We offer a goldie oldie group walk which is similar to our normal group walks, the only difference is that this one is 45 minutes. This service suits older dogs who are starting to slow down, have arthritic/joint problems or have had surgery.
Oldie Walks

How it Works
The bulk of our walks are 1 hr group walks off-lead – with three other dogs maximum – one of our dog walking team will pick up your dog, take them to a local park for a runaround and return them towel-dried, safe and sound. These walks suit a sociable dog that is happy to be transported with others by car and has a decent recall to voice or whistle, although we will improve this.

If you are looking for a regular dog walking slot, please send Helen an email dorridgedogs@gmail.com with brief information about your dog and your needs. If we can accommodate you, Helen will then arrange a time to come to meet you and your dog at home, and go through access to your house, which will require us having key access.

Helen will assess your dog’s suitability for group walks, then she will walk him or her to start with and gradually start to introduce him to our team of our experienced walkers and friendly dogs.
