Dog Behaviourist Consultation
Service Description
Our Dog Behaviourist Consultation is a tailored, in-depth service designed to help you and your dog navigate complex behaviour challenges with expert guidance and ongoing support. What’s included: Initial In-Person Consultation (approx. 2 hours): - This session takes place in the comfort of your own home, where we can observe your dog in their familiar environment and assess the behaviour in context. - We’ll take the time to understand your dog’s history, triggers, and emotional state, and begin to implement practical, manageable strategies from day one. Liaison with Your Vet: - Since behavioural issues often overlap with medical or emotional conditions, we’ll work directly with your vet. This includes forwarding a detailed Report and, to ensure everyone involved in your dog’s care is on the same page. Tailored Follow-Up Materials: - You’ll receive helpful demonstration videos and guidance documents to reinforce your learning and support you between sessions. Ongoing Support and Review: - Behavioural change takes time. We provide follow-up support via WhatsApp, phone and email, including review and feedback on videos you send us. This ongoing contact ensures your training stays on track and adapts as your dog progresses. Flexible Follow-Up Options: - After your initial consultation, you can choose to book individual follow-up sessions as needed, or benefit from continued progress through a cost-effective 6-month support package (available separately). Pathway to Group Courses - We are unique in that we also offer a full set of Group Courses, all the way up to adult dogs with no upper age limit - Although you may not imagine it now, many of our Behavioural Clients go on to take part in our group courses, such as Tweenies Obedience and Rescue Rehab and Top Dogs: Out and About, so they can learn to be around other dogs, people and even to chill out in pubs and cafes. "Chris and the team’s dedication, knowledge, and compassion have been invaluable in helping us progress in ways I didn’t think possible. If you have a nervous or anxious dog, I highly recommend their services—they truly make a difference", said Richard with 2-year-old Nellie. - This service is suitable for dogs experiencing more serious issues such as aggression, fear-based behaviours, or anxiety-related problems. If you're unsure whether training or behavioural work is more appropriate, please contact us and we’ll help guide you.
