Socialisation is a vital part of your dog’s development — but knowing how and when to introduce your dog to new experiences, dogs, and people can be difficult. The truth is, every dog is different. Whether you're working with a nervous puppy, or one who is simply too excitable and upsets other dogs , or a timid newly arrived rescue dog, our planned sessions in which we introduce your dog to a range of calm, well-trained and friendly, playful dogs, ensure socialisation is done the right way. This add-on 3-session Smart Socialisation 121 Training Package (£240, which is payable in instalments of £85) is focused on helping your dog feel more confident, calm, and in control during social interactions. What to Expect: * Structured Socialisation: We gradually introduce your dog to controlled exposure with our calm, experienced helper dogs — including Luna, Izzy, and Archie — who are trained to support nervous or reactive dogs in a safe, positive way. * Controlled Start: Sessions begin in low-distraction environments such as our private training field in Hockley Heath or private land at Solihull Riding Club, Dorridge (where we have an on-site office). * Personalised Support: You’ll receive bespoke guidance on reading your dog’s body language, building confidence, and using the right techniques and equipment to support calm, positive interactions. * Tailor-Made Desensitisation Plan: Each session builds on the last, creating a personalised desensitisation and socialisation plan suited to your dog’s specific needs and comfort levels. “Chris was incredible with our beloved Labrador Tiffany, who had been attacked by a black dog with pointy ears and became very reactive to any similar dogs.
